Tottenham Hotspur v Chelsea Live Commentary & Result, 04/02/2021, Premier League

2′ CLOSE! Azpilicueta goes long immediately and Werner gets in between the two centre-backs, heading towards goal from the centre of the area. Lloris looks like he has it covered all the way as it just drops the wrong side of the right-hand post and out for a goal-kick.

1′ Referee Andre Marriner blows his whistle and the away side get this Premier League fixture underway!

The players are making their way out onto the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium pitch and shortly this London derby will kick-off.

Just two of Chelsea’s 17 Premier League managers have lost their first ever London derby in the competition (W9 D6), with Guus Hiddink losing 0-1 at Spurs in March 2009 and Andre Villas-Boas 0-1 at QPR in October 2011.

Tuchel opts for just one alteration to his last starting eleven, with James replacing Abraham. The introduction of James means Hudson-Odoi will move further forward, after occupying a rather unfamiliar right wing-back role recently. Kai Havertz misses out of the squad entirely.

Jose Mourinho makes three changes from the 1-0 loss against Brighton. Bale, Rodon and Sanchez all drop to the bench and are replaced by Aurier, Dier and Vinicius, who will operate up top in the absence of the injured Harry Kane.

SUBS: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Tammy Abraham, Emerson, Olivier Giroud, Christian Pulisic, Andreas Christensen, Ben Chillwell, Hakim Ziyech, N’Golo Kante.

CHELSEA (3-4-2-1): Edouard Mendy; Thiago Silva, Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta; Reece James, Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, Marcos Alonso; Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi; Timo Werner.

SUBS: Lucas Moura, Gareth Bale, Joe Hart, Joe Rodon, Davinson Sanchez, Harry Winks, Matt Doherty, Japhet Tanganga, Erik Lamela.

TOTTENHAM (4-2-3-1): Hugo Lloris; Ben Davies, Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld, Serge Aurier; Moussa Sissoko, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg; Son Heung-Min, Tanguy Ndombele, Steven Bergwijn; Carlos Vinicius.

Since Thomas Tuchel’s appointment, the Blues have collected four points in two games, most recently cruising to a 2-0 victory over Burnley. The hosts, who sit seventh in the Premier League, disappointed in a 1-0 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion last time out.

Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Premier League fixture between Tottenham and Chelsea.
