LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers may be an incredible athlete, but the 11× NBA champion and 5× NBA Most Valuable Player big man Bill Russell wants everyone to know he was a freak of nature himself back in the day.
After ex-NBA center and current ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins called James quote, “The most athletic player in NBA history.”
Russell chimed in, reminding Perkins of his athletic qualifications during his prime.

After seeing Russell’s response, Perk apologized to his former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate LeBron and said Russell actually may the most athletic player ever.

In 60 games so far this season, James is averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals, 0.4 blocks and 10.6 assists per game, while shooting at 49.8 percent from the floor and 34.9 percent from deep.
