LeBron James believes that resuming the NBA season will not affect his ability to inspire “meaningful change in society.”
James reportedly did not participate in the Zoom call with other NBA players.

Despite not participating, James feels like he can still encourage and inspire change.
“He wants to keep making his mark off the court. He wants to play basketball,” Sam Amick of The Athletic notes. “And as has always been the case, he clearly believes he can do both at the same time.”
James plans on joining the Lakers in Orlando while working on helping make a difference throughout the country.
