Real Madrid Only Del Bosque and Munoz are ahead of him
Perez hands Zidane a commemorative shirt for his 200th game in charge.
After Real Madrid’s 3-1 victory over Eibar on Sunday, president Florentino Perez went down to the dressing room to congratulate the players and hand out commemorative shirts to coach Zinedine Zindane and Welshman Gareth Bale.
The match against Eibar was Zidane’s 200th game on the bench for Real Madrid, whilst Bale also made his 250th appearance for the club.
The Frenchman is now third in the list of Real Madrid coaches with the most games under their belt, with only former Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque (246) and Miguel Munoz (605) ahead of him.
Zidane has also won 10 trophies during his time in charge: three Champions Leagues, two Club World Cups, two European Super Cups, one LaLiga Santander title and two Supercopas de Espana.
Bale also had cause for celebration. The Welshman came on for the final 30 minutes of the match against Eibar, thus making his 250th appearance in a Real Madrid shirt.
He is now in his seventh season at the club, after arriving from Tottenham for a then world-record fee in September 2013.
Bale has scored a total of 105 goals in that period, including some all-important ones in cup finals.
His brace in the 2018 Champions League final against Liverpool was instrumental in helping Real Madrid win the competition for the 13th time.
Apart from that he was also decisive in the 2-0 victory over San Lorenzo in 2014/15 Club World Cup and the 2-1 win against Barcelona in the 2013/14 Copa del Rey.
