Real Madrid He will first return to Real Madrid
Michael Zorc, Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director, has confirmed that the club will do all they can to keep Achraf Hakimi with them on loan for another season.
Last week, his agent, Alejandro Camano, confirmed that the right-back would return to Real Madrid at the end of the current campaign and then consider his future, including a possible return to Signal Iduna Park.
“The contractual situation is clear: he will return to Real Madrid for now,” Zorc said in a press conference.
“However, we’re trying to get him to play for us next season, but it’s too soon to discuss this now.”
Achraf himself has not taken any decisions, although he wants to play at Real Madrid.
Sooner or later the 21-year-old will have to find his spot at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, and Real Madrid will not sell a player with such a bright future ahead of him.
Achraf wants to ensure that he has regular game time in order to further aid his development, and he doesn’t rule out another loan at Dortmund or elsewhere.
