Tebas: In 15 days we'll sit down with the government to try to bring fans back to stadiumsEFE

In a press conference with international media, LaLiga president Javier Tebas has spoken about the possibility of fans returning to stadiums in Spain’s top two divisions this season.

The suggestion has come as lockdown restrictions have eased in Spain, but games remain behind closed doors.

“The pandemic is suffering a heavy fall, the government has set down rules of how fans can return to stadiums,” Tebas explained.

“The minister for sport, with the regional authorities, and LaLiga have to coordinate this return to stadiums.

“When 10 to 15 days have gone by, we’ll sit down with the government to try to bring fans back to stadiums.

“Obviously it won’t be the whole stadium and it would be with very high precautionary measures, like the protocols we have.

“I think we could have 10 percent of 15 percent in some stadiums, we’d be very happy.”
