The Los Angeles Lakers dominated the glass in their 110-100 win over the Houston Rockets in Game 4. They now lead the series 3-1.
The Lakers finished with twice as many rebounds as the Rockets. They had 52 and held Houston to just 26.
The Rockets’ small-ball lineup burned them today. Their starters combined for just 14 rebounds and Jeff Green led them with seven rebounds off the bench. LeBron James out-rebounded Houston’s entire starting lineup, finishing with 15.
James also had 16 points and nine assists in the game. Anthony Davis finished with 29 points and 12 rebounds. The Lakers also got contributions off their bench as Rajon Rondo finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. Alex Caruso finished with 16 points, including a clutch 3-pointer to put the game away.
The Rockets will have to be much better on the glass to have a chance of winning Game 5 and extending the series. The game will be Saturday night at 8 p.m., Eastern time.
