Kevin Love shared his thoughts on the season of the Cleveland Cavaliers being officially over.
The Cavaliers were not included in the plan of the NBA to restart the season. Cleveland was one of the eight teams that were not invited in Orlando to resume the season.
“It’s a tough pill to swallow, but from a league perspective of being safe, I understand that. It’s paramount for teams like us that are in the bottom eight to have some good competition. Eight months off from competitive basketball is not conducive to getting better,” said Love, according to Rick Noland of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram.
