Damian Lillard shared his thoughts on Kyrie Irving’s and Dwight Howard’s unwillingness to participate in the resumption of the NBA season.

Irving and Howard believe the NBA restart will distract the people from the Black Lives Matter movement and the superstar of the Portland Trail Blazers understands this mindset.

“I think Kyrie [Irving] and Dwight [Howard] have a point. A lot of our hearts are with our people. Our mind is with our people. We feel like we should be a part of that, we should be a part of that fight.

Maybe we should be focused on that,” Lillard said in a recent ESPN interview, via Scott Polacek of Bleacher Report.
