Barcelona: Semedo, Trincao and Braithwaite join Barcelona’s pre-season training

Barcelona Return after international duty

Ronald Koeman has been boosted by the returns of Nelson Semedo, Francisco Trincao and Martin Braithwaite to his first team squad.

All three players have joined up with Barcelona for pre-season training after finishing international duty.

Koeman’s side play their first friendly of pre-season against Gimnastic de Tarragona at the Estadi Johan Cruyff at 19:00 CEST on Saturday.

The Blaugrana will also face Girona on Wednesday as part of their preparations for the new campaign.

Barcelona begin their LaLiga Santander season on either September 26 or 27 against Villarreal.

Koeman is still without Samuel Umtiti, Miralem Pjanic and Jean-Clair Todibo, who all tested positive for coronavirus this summer, while Marc-Andre ter Stegen starts his recovery from injury on Saturday.
