Barcelona: Barcelona are guaranteed goals

Barcelona are guaranteed goalsAFP

If there’s one thing that Barcelona fans can be confident in ahead of the remainder of the season, it’s their side’s ability to score goals.

The Catalan club are the top scorers in LaLiga Santander this season with 67 goals and are amongst the most prolific teams in Europe.

Only problems at the back have prevented them from pulling further ahead in LaLiga Santander this season.

With 10 league fixtures to go, Quique Setien finds himself with a host of attacking talent at his disposal.

Luis Suarez has recovered from his knee problems, but he couldn’t get a start on Saturday ahead of Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann or Martin Braithwaite.

The 4-0 victory over Real Mallorca was an example of that as Barcelona’s attack put on an exhibition at Son Moix.

That win will serve as a confidence boost to the Blaugrana – before Saturday, they’d only scored 18 goals in 13 away games in LaLiga Santander this campaign.

Arturo Vidal scored the first of the four against Mallorca and his late runs from midfield are an asset to the team.

The Chilean, alongside Braithwaite and Ansu Fati, can relieve the goalscoring pressure on the MSG trident of Messi, Suarez and Griezmann.

Such are Setien’s range of options, it’s difficult to predict who will start in attack for Barcelona’s next game against Leganes.
