Barcelona: Arturo Vidal nets his seventh of the season in the second minute back

Barcelona A bright start

Arturo Vidal nets his seventh of the season in the second minute backefe

Barcelona couldn’t have returned to LaLiga Santander action any better than they did at Mallorca on Saturday evening.

It took just 65 seconds for Arturo Vidal to open the scoring after being picked out by Jordi Alba from the left.

The strike was one of the quickest this season, though Jaime Mata did net earlier for Getafe at Valencia, finding the net after 45 seconds.

Vidal’s tally is now up to seven, making him the fourth highest scorer at the club, behind just Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann.

Despite that, the Chilean is one of the players the Catalans are looking to move on this summer, although his contract is set to run until June 2021.
